I have a Stern / Konami cab currently housing a Scramble. I have aquired 4 more Konami boards: Super Cobra (known working), Space Pilot (Time Pilot bootleg, known working), TazzMania (unknown condition) & Super Basketball (unknown condition). I'm also attempting to get a Gyruss to complete the 6 games I will use in the multi-game cabinet.
2/15/2010:
To accomplish this, I will be using a 6 position data switch (below). I will be placing this inside the coindoor where the coinbox would normally sit. I didn't like any of the other options I came up with including making the switch visible from outside.

In order to connect it to the existing harness inside the machine, I took a JAMMA adapter pcb from JAMMABOARDS.COM and used a dremel to it to make it the 36pin width I needed.
I've built a board shelf for the 6 boardsets and will switch between games using the rotary switch of a 6 console data switch. I currently have 3 of the boards, so that's what it looks like semi-populated.

Next I needed to desolder positions 23, 24 and 25 as I will be running power through those leads and did not want to use the 24 gauge wire that is inside the switch. I instead will be using 18 gauge wire for the power concerns and then the existing wire for all other signals.
Soldered up the inbound power and connected to the board
Completed power soldering. Now to move onto the data D-Subs
All signal lines will go through the 25pin dsub out the back of the switch. Power (+5 (x2), -5 and +12) will go directly from the rotary, out the side, and to the device using 18 gauge wire. Boards will be powered individually, not all at once. The rotary will control all signal including power.
